Why Choose Me?
This is a workshop on Public Speaking – part of the EmpowerHER Workshop Series – led by Professor Louise Morley, University of Sussex, UK.
· Do you feel nervous when presenting in front of an audience?
· Do you want to learn more about communicating with confidence?
· Would you like to develop your effective verbal communication skills in a supportive and constructive environment?
· Are you interested in discovering the seven core qualities for concise, measured messages?
If so, please sign up for this 90-minute session which will include participants’ presentations to the group on the subject of ‘Why Choose Me?’
This can relate to a job application, dating site, flatshare etc. – any situation where you wish to promote yourself (briefly), and create a positive impression.
You will need to identify and communicate some key points about yourself and be open to supportive and constructive feedback on how you can be even more effective and marvellous.
Louise will also offer some input on the Dos and Don’ts of public speaking.
