For the last decade or so, Jane Traies has been collecting lesbian life stories. Some of them appear in Now You See Me, a collection of tales told by lesbians born between 1920 and 1950; and in her second collection, Free to Be Me, featuring the lives of lesbian refugees and asylum seekers.
In this session Jane will describe how she started doing this work, and will share some of the humorous, heart-breaking and inspiring stories she has collected.
