Collective Improvisation – FCBD & ITS Fundamentals is a specialised form of modern group dance that relies entirely on a shared “non-verbal language” of cues and responses.
Instead of performing a choreography that everyone has memorised in advance, the dancers create the performance live in the moment.
Within a few minutes, we will learn the first “words” of this dance vocabulary that connects women dance-wise worldwide. We play with following and leading, and together we create a dance ready for the stage.
ABOUT KATERINA
Certified in both American and German group improvisational formats (FCBD® Style and ITS), she brings 20 years of international teaching experience to the festival.
She says, “I have coached several groups and hold both certifications: the American (SisterStudio – ATS) and the German (Nea’s Fundamentals – ITS). I have organised several shows, and my group has performed internationally”.
