BETTY Live in Skala Eressos!

We are thrilled to welcome the legendary indie-rock power trio BETTY to the International Eressos Women’s Festival.

For many of us, BETTY are instantly recognisable as the band behind the iconic theme song for The L Word. But Elizabeth, Amy, and Alyson are so much more than television royalty. They are fierce, independent artists, lifelong activists, and undeniable icons of queer culture.

For nearly forty years, BETTY have been blending tight harmonies, cello, guitar, bass, and electropop beats into live shows that are theatrical, hilarious, passionate, empowering, and full of heart.

Fierce, independent, unforgettable

BETTY is made up of sisters Elizabeth and Amy Ziff, together with their lifelong best friend Alyson Palmer. Across their extraordinary career, they have released eleven albums, including their latest release Eat, won two Emmy Awards, and toured internationally as US State Department Arts Envoys and Stonewall Ambassadors.

Their work has been championed by Gloria Steinem, and through The BETTY Effect, they continue to support women, girls, and LGBTQ+ communities around the world.

Their live performances are legendary in their own right. Expect powerful songs, sharp humour, beautiful harmonies, bold theatricality, and the kind of energy that brings a whole audience together.
