Do you have a true story to tell and want to find an engaging way to put it down in the written word?

Capturing Place is a writers’ workshop which will explore the popular literary genre of Creative Non-Fiction- or ‘true stories well told.’

Focusing on the theme of place and setting participants will examine examples of the genre and be given a guided opportunity to write something of their own.

Nicki Winton taught English Literature and Language for 30 years in schools in Brighton and Hove. Six years ago she moved with her wife to Skala Eresos, Lesvos. Four dogs and three cats keep her busy, but she has written a novel for young teenagers and is currently querying agents. Her current writing project is a ‘true story’ that she is hoping to tell as well as she can.

Gill McKnight is Irish but spends as much time as possible in Lesvos, Greece, which she considers home. She can often be found travelling back and forth between Greece and Ireland in a rusty old camper old campervan with her rusty wee dogs. She has been publishing lesbian fiction since 2007.
