Join your experienced guide Rebecca for a scenic cycling adventure into the mountains between Eressos and Mesotopos, providing a perfect escape from the noise and hustle of Eressos, immersing you in the tranquility of the surrounding countryside.

Our journey begins with a 6.7 km ride along the Mesotopos road before veering off onto remote dirt tracks, offering a unique and adventurous experience. As we traverse these tracks, a short, rocky climb will reward you with breathtaking views of volcanic rock formations against the backdrop of the turquoise sea. The trail then levels out, guiding us through an extraordinary landscape featuring volcanic plugs, steep valleys, and isolated sheep farms.

Continuing on undulating paths through a wide, open valley, our ride culminates at a charming little church. The entire route covers a distance of 19.6 km, but be prepared for it to feel slightly longer due to the rugged nature of the tracks.

Throughout the journey, we’ll take breaks to refresh and explore the area, including visits to deep rock pools still inhabited by frogs, despite the winter/autumn waterfalls having long dried up.

To make the most of this adventure, sign-up is required, and participants are encouraged to have good overall fitness. Please remember to bring an ample supply of water, snacks, sun cream, and wear appropriate clothing for a safe and enjoyable experience as we explore the beauty of this unique terrain!
