A circle walk Liota – Gavatas – Liota: A trip to a nearby village, Liota, where we park the car. The walk will take us through olive groves and along the coastline high above the sea. We will pass the little village of Gavathas, here you can have a swim. Then we continue up the hill to Liota where we will have a lunch at the tavern, with a stunning view.

Note: Due to Covid-19 restrictions, it is requested that participants are prepared to make their own arrangements for a car for this day. It will also be possible to organise a taxi to Liota, please ask for information in the Sappho Travel office.

Anna and Helene are from Sweden, they came to Skala Eressos many years ago and fell in love with the village and the surroundings. They now live here part of the year and have done a lot of hikes and know the area well. There walks have been a popular activity on the International Women’s Festival for many years.
