Mané and Runa – Sound Healing & Dance Workshops for the LGBTQIA+ Community
Mané and Runa are both lesbians. Through our past intimate relationship, we discovered that we work even better as professional partners. Combining Mané’s singing with Runa’s movement methodology creates a deep sense of empathy.
Since 2023, together with Mané (singer, songwriter, and sound healer), we have been offering sound healing and dance session workshops for the LGBTQIA+ community in Germany and Switzerland. In these workshops, participants are guided through the space using dance improvisation exercises
Runa is a contemporary dancer from Berlin, with a diverse and rich background in movement and choreography. She studied at Danceworks Berlin, the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, and Performact in Portugal, honing her skills as a performer, choreographer, and movement director both on and off camera. Her work focuses on social issues such as mental health, climate activism, LGBTQ+identity, and injustices.
In addition to her movement and screen work, Runa is a female filmmaker and video editor. Her creations have been showcased at dance festivals in Berlin and film festivals across France, the UK, Germany, and the US. Runa is also a passionate and empathetic educator, teaching contemporary dance, Pilates, and a variety of movement and fitness classes online and in studios.
Mané is a Swiss shamanic pop singer and songwriter that has worked in the US, UK and EU.
Together Runa and Mané host workshops that include sound healing and free movement to make women feel free in their bodies.
