Walking in the traces of Sappho, uniting the ancient history with the recent history, ways of living, tradition, lesbian history of Eressos and lots of poetry. All walks last approximately 2 hours in length. Please wear sturdy footwear and ensure you bring water.

Tzeli Hatjidimitriou is the author of ‘A Girl’s Guide to Lesvos’. She appeared alongside Margaret Mountford on BBC4’s ‘ Sappho: Love & Life on Lesvos’. She is indisputably an expert on Sappho. Tzeli was born on the Island of Lesvos.
