To mark the occasion, we are inviting suggestions for your recommended holiday read (all languages welcome.)

Send in the title of your favourite book by female authors via our Facebook page.

Closing date for entries is 1st July 2019 (max 1 entry per person). We will then hold a ‘book club’ during the women’s festival.

For those of you who love reading and/or writing, there will be plenty of events for you to choose from during the 2 weeks of festival. From our perennial and much loved ‘Wine, Women & Words’, to the ‘Menopause Monologues’ , poetry and a writer’s workshop or two.

Whether you like to write, perform, read or simply listen, we hope you’ll find something to enjoy. We are certain Sappho the Eressian would approve.
