Welcome Walk: Find your feet in Skala
Spend a relaxed hour exploring the beautiful village of Skala Eressos and getting your bearings for the festival days ahead.
After meeting at Sappho Travel, we’ll wander through the key festival locations — from venues, bars, and volleyball courts to Turtle Bridge, swimming spots, sunset viewpoints, and the chapel path for sunrise walks.
Along the way, you’ll discover where to find great local food, fresh fish, vegan favourites, cash points, hidden corners, and perhaps even the island’s best taramasalata and cocktails.
This is the perfect chance to settle into the rhythm of Eressos, meet fellow festival-goers, and start feeling at home in this special village.
We’ll finish the walk at Ohana Bar, the meeting spot for the Skala Women’s Rock Group. There, you can enjoy a dip in the crystal-clear waters or grab a coffee and watch the swimmers set off for the iconic Rock.
