Buy Your Wristband Here
You will create your own ceramic object(s) during two workshops, one for shaping clay into object(s) and the other for painting it/them. Katerina will guide you through the whole process and fires the ceramics two times. On the 19th of September, women can get their creations finished, after two firings in the special kiln.
You will use your hands and feel the joy of working with clay, share ideas and transform inspiration into real matter. Regardless of your level of previous experience, you will have the chance to make, by your own hands and under guidance, things like jewellery, cups, mugs, bowls, plates, ashtrays etc. The creation of thick objects is not recommended as there wouldn’t be enough time for them to dry properly.
This will be a very special experience in a beautiful, cool art space!

About OM ERESSOS
OM ERESSOS is a non-profit organization created in 2025 aiming at the sustainability and well-being of Eressos area in Lesvos island.
The activities that we organize include p.ex. the promotion of local artists, artists that reuse materials and artists that come from countries in crisis, the employment of people from “fragile” groups of the population, the organization of workshops/events about handcrafting and artistic creation, along with activities that increase the environmental awareness of locals (workshops in schools) and foreigners and promote the harmonic coexistence of different social groups.
The last 2 years, we maintain a communal permaculture garden, we compost organic waste from local businesses and we cooperate with other organizations which share similar goals.
