Singing together is a fast and fun way to build connection and community. I will warm up the body and voice with simple exercises, rounds and songs in more than one part to gradually lead the group into harmony singing.

The human voice can do it all: the rhythm section, bass line, the backing parts, and lead vocals.

Drawing on my rich repertoire of songs gathered over 30 years of teaching and leading choirs, I will choose songs that will nourish our souls, raise our spirits and give us all a good time.

As I am also a singer songwriter, I often use my own tried and tested compositions.

About Carol

I am one of the most experienced choir leaders in the South East of England having set up three community choirs from scratch, as well as teaching extensively in schools, colleges and the voluntary sector. I am a founding member of The Natural Voice Network.

My work has taken me all over the UK, Eire, the USA and Greece. I have performed and taught singing at the International Eressos Women’s Festival in 2006, 2009, and 2025.

I am also an accomplished singer songwriter and performer with two albums on Bandcamp. I have appeared in my own autobiographical one woman shows, the most recent Give Me The Moonlight, Give Me The Girl in 2017 was a musical celebration of my love, lust and longing for women from my travels around the world.

I currently sing in a collaborative choir for women, non binary and gender fluid folks called KIN which is multi generational and we sing mainly pop songs from across the decades and genres.
